Heaven is Boring
Think about it. If only people who don’t sin go to heaven, it must be really boring. No one has fun or anything. Just like Mark Twain said, you go to heaven for the climate and hell for the company.

There is not a God, or any kind of higher power. “God” is just a characteristic in people. That characteristic shows more in some people than in others. If God created the universe, then what created God? The universe just is, always has been, and always will be. There weren’t planets at first, but particles. Those particles collided with each other and made more complex, bigger things. Collision of the particle happened so much that planets came along. If Adam and Eve were the first people on Earth, let’s say there were both the same race, they would have kids together. Their kids would have to reproduce with each other, and so on and so forth. This means that everybody would be mentally challenged, and everybody would be the same race. People say that race depends on where you live. Blacks have large noses, Asians have slanted eyes. How does the sun do this? If there was a God, why would he let there be so much evil in the world? Why would he let such bad things happen?
When you dream at night, you don’t usually remember reality, you have independent memories that don’t exist in you perceived reality. Also, have you ever had a dream within a dream? You wake up in your dream, then you wake up again to your “reality”. And, dreams sometimes seem to last hours, days even, while only seconds/minutes pass in the “real world”. So, how can you say that we aren’t dreaming right now? Dreaming at night is just dreaming within this dream. Then when do we wake up, you ask? That’s what we perceive as death. And when you “die” you will wake back up into the real world, which you don’t know about now, because you are just dreaming, dreaming that you’re reading this, and your memories of your “life” are just part of this dream.
Think about it. Nothing as bad as Windows or Internet Explorer could have happened by accident.
The light from a star takes thousands of years to reach our eyes and by this time it is likely that the star has died. What if we are that light and ourselves, our planet, our sun and our universe have already died millions of years ago and all that we are now is just a projection. Nothing can be random, nothing is a choice, everything has already happened, everything is set out and one day our projection will fade.
Just about anyone has the ability to do great things. We all can learn, if taught correctly—some may need to learn more than others to get to the same place, but it’s possible for most people to learn almost anything. What sets the great people apart from everyone else, however, is motivation to take the necessary steps. Instead of sitting down and watching TV, they choose to do something that moves them closer to their goals. They’re driven to learn and, having learned, do.
What if, long ago, an extremely advanced species came to Earth, created life, and spawned humanity, just to see what would happen—like an experiment. They provided the means to create a society and live in peace. And seeing the way humanity is now, maybe 2012 will be a cleansing, like an expiration date.
We now know that Mars used to have liquid water on its surface—the landscape of the whole planet has been sculpted by flowing water at some point in its past. If you have a look for “Mars anomalies” on any Internet search engine you will see odd things strewn about its surface spotted by the rovers that still trundle over its surface gathering data. Some of the things look spookily like building materials, such as bricks, etc. Satellite imagery has shown other strange things that look like structured areas and straight lines that could be ancient ruins.
Just imagine what it’s like there for a minute—if these things are ruins of ancient civilisations, things mist be extremely spooky there… Wind whipping up red dust swirling around barely exposed ancient ruins as the sun sets majestically over a freezing cold Martian mountain, plunging the quiet planet into pitch darkness with only the sound of breeze sprinkling dust over lonely rocks.
Mars could have been the home to intelligent life. Perhaps it could have experienced its “Goldilocks” era many thousands—maybe millions—of years before the Earth? There is a volcano on Mars called Olympus Mons that is bigger than any other known in the whole of the solar system—it’s actually much bigger than Mount Everest! Imagine if that bad boy went off!? It could easily have destroyed any livable atmosphere and kick-started the planet’s death. There are seemingly hundreds of thousands of cavelike areas across the surface of Mars and a certain period of its year the atmosphere is full of Methane gas—a sure sign of life. The life could be bacteria that can thrive in seemingly inhospitable areas under the surface of Mars—or, could the intelligent life whom once inhabited the surface have colonized beneath the surface, away from the deadly solar winds and plummeting temperatures?
Whatever played a part in the demise of the planet was perhaps predicted by the civilisations and some survived under the surface. There could be networks of cave systems and ecosystems unimaginable to us—the inhabitants could all have evolved heightened senses to survive in the darkness. There’s a lot to think about there anyway—what do you guys think?
Every year that we get snow, the country invariably grinds (or slides) to a halt. To pass a driving test here, all we have to do is master the “ten to two” steering wheel position and mirror, signal, manoeuvre.
In other countries—most notably Finland, amongst many others—people who wish to take full control of over a tonne of metal capable of speeds well in excess of 100 MPH must prove that they understand the basic physics of such a feat first. They must undergo intensive high speed skid-pan training and master evasive manoeuvres before they are allowed anywhere near a public road. They also, by law, have to have a set of winter tyres for their cars so that they can actually drive properly. This means that not only are the drivers actually much more worthy of throwing their huge, heavy, potential murder machines past each other, they are actually capable of driving on snow and ice and they have decent tread on their tyres. Drivers are also expected by law to take refresher tests when they hit a certain age to ensure they are still mentally capable of driving safely and well.
Here, the majority of drivers use the kerbs to guide themselves into parking spaces, couldn’t tell you what “opposite lock” means, wouldn’t have a clue if their car is front or rear wheel drive (and so aren’t able to adapt their driving style successfully to suit the conditions) and are allowed to drive right up until they decide it would be a good idea to drive up the wrong side of the motorway to visit Mabel (who died ten years ago)—how on earth are we as a country expected to cope with mildly slippery conditions? Most people here drive about on their “slippy ditchfinder” bargain tyres and basically haven’t fit a clue how to control a car. If we actually had to learn to control a car properly and our cars had decent treaded tyres on to suit the seasons then it would all go much more smoothly!
“Lather, rinse, repeat” is actually unnecessary. The concept was put on shampoo bottles so you use more of it, and therefore are forced to buy more.
