Unsubstantiated Theories

The Theory of Evolution

If evolution really happened then why did it stop. If we evolved from monkeys then why do monkeys stay monkeys and humans come from humans? Why would it just abruptly stop? Think about it.

  1. You really seem to misunderstand how evolution works. First, we didn't evolve from monkeys, modern humans and monkeys both evolved from the same common ancestor. Evolution hasn't stopped, it's just very slow in most cases.

  2. Look at the hour hand on your clock. It's stopped! How could yesterday have happened if time is stopped?

  3. You have not lived long enough to see evolution happen. Humans thousands of years ago averaged well under 5 feet tall; nowadays that is not the case.

  4. Evolution is slow but alive and well. An ape didn't give birth one day to modern man. It's a slow process of genetic superiority. Evolution is happening right now. Out wisdom teeth are a prime example. Human mouths are becoming smaller so our wisdom teeth don't always have room to grow in. We no longer need our third and largest molar because we don't rely on as much plant material as we once did. Humans don't really have to scavenge for meat anymore. It's readily available and our teeth are evolving to satisy our modern dietary habits. Evolution is happening, albeit slowly, all around us.

  5. No offense ment, but evolution favors the organism that suits it's environment. These days humans adapt the environment to suit it. Think about it, you get cold, you don't just stay cold you get a blanket, jacket or a air conditioner to make it warmer. If you think about it like this it makes sense.
